Why it works

The Museum of the World gives a vast archive a spatial model. Discovery becomes memorable because time, geography, and relationships are experienced rather than presented as filters.

What we would carry forward

When information is genuinely large, give it a navigable shape. The interaction model should help people form a mental map, not only retrieve an item.

The restraint

Exploration needs progressive orientation. A strong overview, clear return points, and readable detail states keep wonder from becoming disorientation.

Why it is in the library

It turns a huge cultural archive into an explorable map, giving discovery a clear spatial logic.
